 About the position

 

The Marketing Team operates within the wider Marketing, Communications, Events, Fundraising, and Partnerships team, all driven by growing awareness, enquiries, and funds to continue to support genU’s programs and opportunities for our clients.

 

The Marketing Coordinator will sit within the dynamic Marketing team, which operates in states across Australia. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will play a key role in developing and delivering key messages, campaigns, and content for the Marketing Team to grow brand awareness, leads, nurture current clients and further partner relationships.

 

You will work closely with Marketing Business Partners and business areas to create and coordinate content that enhances awareness and understanding of genU, manage and optimise the content schedule for several channels and brands, and deliver various email marketing campaigns and newsletters across the portfolio.

 

There will also be opportunities to oversee projects from time to time and get involved in a range of overarching marketing activities as required.

About you

 

We’re looking for an upbeat professional to join our team – someone who loves to try new things, share insights and experience, and work collaboratively with their creative and passionate colleagues across the business.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends, strong writing skills, email marketing, and newsletter creation, audience segmentation and experience in digital campaigns and website optimisation . To be considered for this opportunity you will require:

 

  • A tertiary qualification in relevant discipline and/or relevant work experience that could be equated to tertiary qualifications.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation
  • Experience with dynamic content and audience segmentation
  • Experience in email marketing campaigns across a range of detailed audiences
  • Photography and Videography skills
  • NDIS Screening Workers Check (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Workers Operational Module (or willing to obtain)
  • Be a keen team player with a sense of humour and fun!
