  • Employment Status: Flexible work arrangements. This is a permanent position and can be either Full-Time or Part time, we are flexible! 
  • Salary range: This role will be paid in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Employees Award 2020 at $72,244 - $97,048 per year, commensurate with experience. 
  • Add in the 65% billable hours: A key difference within this role is that you are only claiming 65% of your time (or 23.62hours for a full time employee) with the other 35% left for personal development, administrative tasks and team support. 
  • Professional Development: 2 hours per week is available to each therapist / practitioner to focus upon Professional Development

Allied Health  

 

At genU, our Allied Health team improves the lives of our community by improving the wellbeing and ability to manage everyday tasks of our clients. Our Allied Health team consists of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics Specialist Behaviour Support and Allied Health Assistance. 

 

You will be operating within the NDIS Framework to complete all relevant specialist assessments including independent living skills assessments and other functional and adaptive behaviour assessments. You will also develop individual skill development plans.

About You! 

 

As a genU Occupational Therapist, you will be working in collaboration with participants, family members, carers, Support Coordinators and other allied health professionals to deliver a high quality and responsive service. Your excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills will be critical to your success in this role. Get in touch with us to explore this opportunity further! 

 

To be successful in this role it is a requirement that you have: 

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA 
  • 12 months previous experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferrable though, we’re willing to consider Graduate Occupational Therapists. 
  • Experience completing assessments and making recommendations 

 

You will also meet the following essential requirements: 

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;  
  • Current NDIS Working With Childrens Check or willingness to obtain;  
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;
