Occupational Therapist
- Employment Status: This is a permanent position and can be either Full-Time or Part time. We are flexible!

- Location: Launceston, TAS
- Salary range: From $76kp.a - $115k p.a, commensurate with experience. This role will be paid in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Employees Award 2020.
- Salary Packaging available: Not for Profit Salary Package up to $15,990 per annum each FBT year - further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2,649 per annum
- Add in the 70% billable hours: A key difference within this role is that you are claiming 70% of your time with the other 30% left for personal development, administrative tasks and team support.
- Ongoing support available: We offer regular individual and peer supervision with our skilled and experienced Occupational Therapists and broader allied health team focussing upon learning, developing and growing within a supportive environment. This is a fun positive learning experience which we encourage all OTs to participate in.
Hey you
As a genU Occupational Therapist (OT), you will be working in collaboration with participants, family members, carers, Support Coordinators and other allied health professionals to deliver a high quality and responsive service. You will be assisting our participants to develop support plans to work toward person-centred, strengths-based goals at home and in the community. You will be operating within the NDIS Framework or Home Care Packages to complete all relevant specialist assessments including independent living skills assessments, functional capacity assessments and home and living assessments.
We offer OT’s experience across the life span! We have OTs focused on paediatric therapy who are available to guide and support learning in this area. We also have a Supported Disability Accommodation / Supported Independent Living OT and complex home modifications specialist. Your excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills will be critical to your success in this role.
We will look after from your day one to ensure you are well inducted and ready to start! We support and encourage our team to seek external professional development opportunities in line with their annual Performance and Development goals.
To be successful in this role it is a requirement that you have
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia
- Allied Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current NDIS Working With Children’s Check
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
