Location: This position can be based anywhere in Victoria or Tasmania, within driving distance of genU's operations.
Employment Status: Full-time, on-going
Salary: $115,000 p.a. + 11.5% super | Negotiable based on skills and experience.
Not-for-Profit Benefits: Salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year, plus additional meals and entertainment benefits up to $2,649 p.a.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Insurance Business Partner to become a trusted member of the Quality, Risk and Assurance group as we continue to grow and merge with Activ.
The Quality, Risk and Assurance group provides risk, insurance and compliance advisory services, quality assurance and quality systems advisory services, and assurances services to the Board, CEO, Executive and Management of genU and its related entities.
As the Risk & Insurance Business Partner, you will provide specialised advice and guidance in the areas of:
- Risk and compliance management
- General insurance management
- Internal audit management
- Integrity matters
You will provide subject matter expertise support to the Chief Risk Officer and the organisation in the development and maintenance of risk, compliance and insurance management within genU. You will lead the development of new and review existing risk management frameworks and associated policies. You will provide advice, guidance, reporting and facilitate training and awareness across all areas of genU!
About You?
We are looking for an expert in the field who has a consultative approach and can engage and challenge key stakeholders. Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- 5 years’ plus experience in work in risk, audit, assurance, investigations, integrity and/or compliance management.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with skills of leadership, negotiation, adaptability, and initiative.
- Proven time management and goal setting skills with the ability to effectively manage time and projects, set priorities, plan, and organise work in an environment of conflicting changing demands.
- Well-developed computer skills with an emphasis on Word, Excel, Adobe, Visio, Internet search and e-mail applications.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead multi-disciplined teams in a reliable and highly professional manner, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation. • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior management.
- Subject matter expertise and detailed knowledge in Risk Management Practices and their application in a business and operational environment.
- Experience in the management of risk management software and systems including reporting.
- Desirable: Qualifications in Risk Management and Internal Audit at Diploma level and or experience in Quality Management and Internal Audit.
- Desirable: Proven experience in preparation and delivery of Risk Governance and Management Systems education.
You will also have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Screening Workers Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.
