Are you passionate about clinical leadership and supporting mental health professionals? genU is seeking an experienced Senior Health and Wellbeing Consultant to join our team within the Access & Specialist Services division.  

  

As a Senior Health and Wellbeing Consultant, you will provide effective leadership and management for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. Your focus will be on developing and delivering exceptional health and wellbeing services to clients while contributing to the broader organisational goals. 

 

Our Health and Wellbeing team offer a diverse range of services that include disability support, senior services, training and employment across Australia. Reflecting our heritage, we are proud to be one of the largest NDIS providers in Australia. 

 

Some of your key Responsibilities 

 

  • Oversee the effective operation of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, including the line management of 12-15 consultants. 

  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Health & Wellbeing team's business initiatives, ensuring services are efficient, effective, and client focused. 

  • Build and maintain positive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including disability providers and employment services. 

  • Provide monthly clinical supervision, promote learning opportunities, and support professional development for team members. 

  • Review referrals, monitor team performance, ensure timely responses to client feedback, and maintain compliance with genU policies and operational standards. 

 

To be successful in this role it is a requirement that you have 

 

  • Full registration as a health professional with one of the following regulatory bodies: 

  • Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, registered with AHPRA; a counsellor registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), or: 

  • the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA); an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). 

 

Desirable:  

 

  • Experience designing, developing, and piloting the different types of mental health services and interventions used within Employment Services 

 

You will also meet the following essential requirements 

 

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check 

  • Current NDIS Working with Children’s Check 

  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
