We are looking for a Sessional Trainer to join the genU Training team where we deliver valuable, job-ready and nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses!

 

As a Sessional Trainer, you will:

  • develop training material and deliver dynamic & professional training;
  • assist in the development of assessment strategies & tools;
  • conduct training reviews to determine the individual needs of the client;
  • assess learner competencies;
  • participate in processes that ensure ASQA compliance and continuous improvement; and
  • positively contribute to the genU Training team!

 

If you have vocational competency in Medications, First Aid, Disability and/or Ageing we would love to hear from you!

Nurses with experience in medications are highly encouraged to apply.

 

About You:

As a Sessional Trainer, you will be an exceptional individual with the skills & enthusiasm to provide our clients with an engaging & meaningful learning experience. You will be an excellent communicator & be meticulously organised. You will have a strong problem-solving ability & capacity to operate autonomously. 

 

Have you got what it takes?

 

Essential Requirements:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:
    • TAELL411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and
    • TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or
  • a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
  • Vocational competency and currency in the one or more of the following courses:
    • Disability Support
    • Ageing Support
    • Individual Support
    • Community Services
    • Alcohol & Other Drugs
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate of completion
  • Current Working with Children Check
