We are looking for Sessional Trainers to join the genU Training team where we deliver valuable, job-ready and nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses. 

 

As a Sessional Trainer, your main accountabilities will include:

  • Deliver professional and engaging training
  • Sourcing & organising student work experience placements
  • Participate in the development of assessment strategies & tools
  • Conduct initial training reviews to determine individual needs of the clients
  • Maintain a quality service delivery that optimises stakeholder satisfaction; and more!

 

If you have vocational competency in Hospitality, including Cafe and Restaurants, Events, Tourism, Commerical Cookery, Fast Food, Catering, Housekeeping, and Building and Construction, we would love to hear from you! This role is mobile, trainers will deliver training throughout Western Australia! 

 

About You! 

As a Sessional Trainer you are an exceptional individual with the skills and enthusiasm to provide our learners with an engaging and meaningful learning experience. Have you got what it takes?

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Vocational competency and currency in one or more of the following courses:
    • Hospitality/ Hospitality Management 
    • Commercial Cookery 
    • Housekeeping and Hotel Services
    • Events and Tourism 
    • Retail (Cafe/Restaurant/Catering/Fast food)
    • White Card 
    • Building and Construction
    • Civil and Mining
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or TAE40110
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units: TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
  • Current valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel is required
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check 
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
