Sessional Trainer
Location: Melbourne, Victoria. Travel required, including occasional interstate travel.
Pay Range: Starting from $58 per hour + 11.5% super
Not for Profit: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year, plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2,649 pa.

What is a Sessional Trainer?
A Sessional Trainer is a professional who plans and delivers quality training programs on a casual basis. They are responsible for providing dynamic and engaging instruction, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks, and tailoring training to meet individual learner needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering dynamic, face-to-face training sessions.
- Coordinating student work experience placements.
- Assisting with developing assessment tools and strategies.
- Conducting client reviews to identify training needs.
- Maintaining high-quality service to ensure stakeholder satisfaction; and more!
Additional Requirements:
- Training is delivered at various locations across Victoria, requiring travel. You’ll need your own car to transport equipment (e.g., warehousing gear, café machines, training materials). Some interstate travel may also be required.
- Trainers must be able to lift up to 20kgs as part of transporting and setting up equipment.
- Familiarity with Canvas LMS is beneficial.
- You’ll be working with individuals from various backgrounds and levels of experience, so a can-do attitude and solution-focused mindset are essential to engage with clients effectively.

Essential Requirements:
- Vocational competency in Retail, Business Administration, Customer Service, Warehousing, Hospitality, Aged and Health Care, Housekeeping, or Building and Construction.
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor, or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with specified units, or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
- Current valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel, including occasional interstate travel.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain.
