Location: Geelong & Werribee (Based in Geelong) Travel required.
Employment Status: Full-Time, Ongoing
Salary Package: Up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year + meals and entertainment benefits up to $2,649 p.a.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead a team that makes a real difference in the community? We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Manager to join genU Training and oversee our accredited programs across Geelong and Werribee.
genU Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 5553) committed to delivering nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses that enhance employability. Our team works across Australia to improve community outcomes, with a strong focus on learner experience and industry engagement.
As a Training Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Qualifications and Funded Programs to manage the delivery of quality accredited courses. You will lead a motivated team and oversee training operations, ensuring alignment with the ASQA standards, VET quality framework, and funding contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with stakeholders and providers to drive business growth.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate accredited training programs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting clear goals and offering coaching.
- Drive continuous improvement and service excellence within the team.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and funding body requirements.
About You!
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Essential:
- Strong leadership and business development skills.
- Extensive experience in management with a focus on performance culture.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain.
Highly Desirable:
- Knowledge of ASQA standards and the VET quality framework.
- Experience in developing and coordinating accredited training.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or similar).
- TAE qualification or management experience in a VET, adult education, or similar setting.
