genU Training is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to support our Qualifications & Funded Programs team on a 12-month contract - someone who knows the VET world, understands compliance, and is confident using VETtrak.

What you’ll do 

 

As an Administration Officer in our Qualification & Funded Programs team you’ll: 

 

  • Enter, check and maintain student data, including results entry from Canvas into VETtrak 
  • Prepare certificates and ensure records are accurate, compliant and audit‑ready 
  • Coordinate training administration such as booking trainers, rooms and equipment 
  • Respond to enquiries from students, trainers and stakeholders 
  • Support compliance‑focused administration and general office tasks 

  

 

What you’ll bring 

 

  • Experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) 
  • Hands‑on experience using VETtrak in your role (non‑negotiable
  • Sound understanding of the VET sector and compliance requirements 
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence managing high‑volume administration 
  • Friendly, clear communication and a customer‑focused approach 
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) 

 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.) 

  

 

Bonus points for  

 

  • Experience using Canvas or similar LMS platforms

  • Exposure to compliance preparation or audits
