genU is looking for a passionate After-Hours Administrator to be the first point of contact for all rostering and enquiries from clients and Support Workers for the provision of individualised services with GenU.

What you’ll do

As an After-Hours Administrator in our Home Support Services team, you’ll:

  • Provide effective and efficient after-hours rostering support to genU clients, families and carers, assisting people to maintain their independence, quality of life and reach their goals.
  • Respond to incidents as they occur, providing the first level of support to staff and clients, escalating to Manager on Call, completing documentation and notifying ISS Operations Managers
  • Provide effective and efficient day-to-day rostering of Support Workers and ensure compliance of safe working practices and manual handling procedures.
  • Ensure the seamless delivery of services through timely transfer of information to appropriate information systems and staff.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience working in rostering ideally within Disability or Aged Care.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people and situations.
  • The ability to be flexible to the changing workload and demands, whilst showing resilience.
  • Well-developed computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products; including Word and Excel, and Internet and email applications.

 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

 

Bonus points for

  • Experience working with people in the human services sector.
  • Experience working within a similar role
