MatchWorks is looking for a knowledgeable and supportive Allied Health Advisor to provide a personalised holistic approach to support the unique needs of people with disability, employers, labour markets and service providers.

What you’ll do
As an Allied Health Advisor you’ll:
•    Provide a central point of contact to people with disabilities to support them in finding and maintaining employment by providing advice, guidance and resources
•    Support employers by educating and providing advice on hiring people with disabilities.
•    Advocate for the inclusivity and rights of people with disabilities in the workplace
•    Provide advice on applications for the use of the Employment Assistance Fund & Workplace Assessments

 


What you’ll bring
•    Tertiary qualifications in social work, disability, welfare, human resources, psychology, counselling (or related field) and/or extensive experience in a relevant field
•    Proven experience in working with employment or vocational services, supporting people with disabilities in gaining and/or maintaining employment
•    Understanding of workplace legislation related to disability
•    Experience in providing one-on-one support, guidance or case 
•    management to individuals
•    Be familiar with job placement processes, recruitment strategies, and working with employers to facilitate inclusive hiring
•    Proven ability to manage time and workloads effectively 

 


(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
