genU is looking for a knowledgeable and supportive Assistant Payroll Team Leader to help deliver a seamless payroll experience for our people. You'll combine hands-on payroll expertise with team leadership and practical process and system updates and integrations.

What you’ll do

As Assistant Payroll Team Leader, you’ll:

  • Support accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing
  • Provide expert advice on complex payroll matters and entitlements
  • Mentor team members and assist with day-to-day workflow coordination
  • Drive payroll compliance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience working in payroll within a large or complex organisation
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, awards and legislation
  • Great relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to confidently support and mentor others
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accurac
  • A proactive approach to process improvement

 (You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

 

Bonus points for

  • Experience with SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors or WorkForce Software
  • Leadership experience
