MatchWorks is looking for a proactive and relationship-focused Business Development Consultant to join our team. 

 

In this employer-facing role, you'll build relationships with local businesses, source job opportunities and connect job seekers with meaningful employment outcomes. 

 

Based primarily from our Gosnells site, you'll also travel regularly between our Armadale and Byford locations.

We do this through programs and initiatives including our government-funded Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) and Workforce Australia services.  

 

 

What you'll do 

  

As an Business Development Consultant in our team, you'll: 

  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers to identify recruitment opportunities. 

  • Source new vacancies through networking, employer visits, business development activities and cold calling. 

  • Match suitable candidates to vacancies through screening, referrals and employer engagement. 

  • Coordinate recruitment activities and manage communication between employers, participants and Employment Consultants. 

  • Contribute to employment outcomes, placement targets and long-term employer partnerships. 

 

  

What you'll bring 

  

  • Experience in recruitment, sales, business development, account management or a similar relationship-focused role. 

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the confidence to engage a variety of stakeholders. 

  • A proactive approach to business development, networking and creating new opportunities. 

  • Well-developed administration and computer skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. 

  • A current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel between Gosnells, Armadale and Byford. 

 

 

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate - but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
