genU is looking for an experienced Business Partner - Projects to lead and manage all aspects of minor property projects including site fit-out, minor housing refurbishments and make-good works in a timely manner and within budget. Collaborating with all stakeholders across genU ensuring process and programs are delivered consistently with minimum disruption to the delivery of GenU’s services.

What you’ll do
As a Business Partner - Projects in our Property & Fleet Team you’ll:

Lead the annual national capital works and minor works program

Oversee prioritization frameworks to manage high volumes of demand across multiple business units and jurisdictions.

Ensure all fit-outs, refurbishments and make-good works are delivered on time, within budget and to required standards.

Drive cost optimisation, efficiency and value-for-money outcomes across the portfolio.

Establish the policies and processes that govern genU capital works.

Prepare business cases, cost estimates, and ROI assessments where required.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects and relocation
What you’ll bring
-
Qualification in building construction or project management at a minimum of Certificate IV in Building and Construction or Project Management or similar
-
2-5 years’ experience in domestic construction or commercial fit out coordination management.

Commercial or residential construction project management experience.

Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting architectural and consultant drawings.

Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and commitment to achieving effective business outcomes.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
