Hey you!

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Business Solutions Assistant Production Coordinator to support the smooth delivery of day-to-day Business Solutions operations. Acting as second in charge, this role plays a key part in ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery across the division.

With specific oversight of Packaging, Warehousing, Shredding, Printing, and other Business Solutions services, the role supports operational performance through effective coordination, administration, and people leadership. You’ll work closely with site teams to maintain strong commercial outcomes while fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace.

This position suits someone with strong industry experience, well-developed organisational and leadership skills, and a practical, solutions-focused approach. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement across operations while supporting employees to succeed in a supported employment environment.

Reporting to the relevant leader, the Business Solutions Assistant Production Coordinator is a key point of contact for operational teams, helping ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with genU’s values.

At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.

What you’ll do

As a Business Solutions Assistant Production Coordinator, you'll:

  • Work hands-on within the production team to support and contribute directly to production output.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective, professional communication.
  • Support end-of-month account activities, including reconciliation, reporting, and financial documentation, in collaboration with Workforce and Customer Support Coordinators.
  • Assist with staff supervision, job scheduling, and workflow coordination to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards across all products and services.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to staff, including supported employees, promoting inclusion, performance, and team cohesion.
  • Support the manager in achieving business objectives by prioritising tasks, working autonomously, applying practical problem-solving skills, and contributing to quality, growth, and profitability targets.

What you’ll bring

  • Relevant Industry Certificate III or higher, and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated success leading and motivating teams in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Genuine commitment to working alongside and supporting people of all abilities, with a passion for excellence and high presentation standards.
  • Sound knowledge of industry best practices and current trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to deliver products and services within budget, including experience in tendering, scoping, costing, and quoting works.

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
