As a Cafe Assistant - Barista, you will be part in all facets of the cafe operation, including basic food preparation, serving, cleaning and cash register operation. We will guarantee that the food is tasty and our coffee is some of the best in Geelong, and we have the friendliest team!

You will be working as part of the genU Business Enterprises division who provide supported employment for people living with a disability. We are a social enterprise, committed to providing a supportive work environment while operating to the highest commercial standards. Every purchase from Seasons Cafe and Catering helps kick-start the careers of people living with a disability. We train our staff in all kinds of hospitality skills, ranging from making coffees and food to servicing our lovely customers.
This is a Casual, Ongoing role located at VIVA , Corio
About You
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices;
- Efficient worker who can work well in a busy environment;
- High level communication skills;
- Ability to work well within a team environment and alongside people of all abilities;
You will need the following checks:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' Certificate of Completion or willingness to obtain;
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
