genU is looking for a motivated and detail‑focused Client Funding Team Leader to guide high‑quality funding operations and support strong outcomes for the people we serve. In this role, you’ll lead a committed team, strengthen best‑practice processes and ensure our funding systems enable clients to live the life they choose.

What you’ll do
As the Client Funding Team Leader in our funding team you’ll:
- Champion high‑quality client funding practices, ensuring accurate, consistent and compliant funding management across disability and aged care programs to support excellent client outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance on complex funding matters, enabling smooth claiming processes, confident decision‑making and strong organisational performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing systems, processes and collaboration to support efficient, future‑ready funding operations.
- Develop and empower the Client Funding team, building capability, clarity and a positive, high‑performing culture aligned with genU’s values.
What you’ll bring
- Strong analytical and reasoning capability, with the ability to interpret complex funding frameworks and apply sound, evidence‑based judgement.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, able to build trusted relationships and provide clear, practical advice to internal teams and external partners.
- High technical proficiency, including advanced Excel skills and experience with CRM systems such as Carelink or Lumary, plus strong Microsoft 365 capability.
- Experience working within structured compliance or funding environments, with a commitment to quality, accuracy and continuous improvement.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
Bonus points for
- Experience in disability and/or aged care services, particularly in the administration of funding programs.
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Business or a related field, or a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
