What you’ll do

As a Clinical Practice Advisor in our Quality and Practice team you’ll:

  • Manage a caseload of clients with disability or age-related health needs using a person-centred, evidence-informed approach.
  • Assess support workers’ health-related competencies and deliver tailored training and education to staff and clients.
  • Provide clinical input to intake and operational teams by reviewing complex health information to support safe and appropriate client onboarding.
  • Deliver clinical advice across the organisation on health matters, infection prevention and control, hospital discharges, incident monitoring, risk management, policy development, and continuous service improvement.
  • Promote access to healthcare, engage in preventative health and health promotion activities, support positive health outcomes.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor of Nursing or recognised equivalent.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a registered nurse with disability knowledge.
  • Excellent understanding of implementing preventative health strategies in a person-centred manner.
  • Experience in clinical assessments and care plan implementation.
  • Experience in working under NDIS Practice Standards and implementation requirements (desirable).

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

 

Bonus points for 

  • Experience in Mental Health
  • CERT IV TAE
