Hey you!
genU is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Practice Advisor to provide specialist practice coaching and guidance that strengthens workforce development and supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.
This is a flexible hybrid, non-direct care role focused on empowering teams, driving best practice, and achieving exceptional outcomes for clients.
We have two incredible part-time opportunities available working a 5-day fortnight to support with work-life balance (ideally you're able to work on a Monday or Friday and we're happy for you to choose the other days that work best for you)!
At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.
What you’ll do
As a Clinical Practice Advisor, you’ll:
-
Manage clinical assessments and provide expert guidance to support safe, person-centred care for people with disability and ageing support needs.
-
Drive clinical governance and risk management, reviewing complex support plans, identifying risks, and ensuring best-practice service delivery.
-
Partner with operational teams and health professionals to support client onboarding, complex care planning, hospital discharge, and ongoing clinical support.
-
Build workforce capability through training, coaching, and education, while contributing to quality improvement initiatives that enhance client outcomes and service excellence.
What you’ll bring
-
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) – essential.
-
Experienced clinician with 3+ years' nursing experience, strong assessment and care planning skills, and a sound understanding of the Australian healthcare and disability sectors.
-
Excellent communicator and collaborator with the ability to work autonomously, partner effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
-
Highly organised and evidence-driven, with strong clinical judgment, a focus on continuous improvement, and the agility to thrive in a dynamic environment.
-
As travel is a requirement of this role, you must hold a current and valid driver’s licence.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
