Join genU as a Communications Coordinator and help deliver engaging, high-quality communications across our programs and internal channels. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage our communications calendar, support intranet content, and contribute to creating and distributing meaningful content.
Working closely with Marketing, Communications, and key stakeholders, you’ll ensure clear, coordinated messaging across the organisation using digital tools like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

What you’ll do
As a Communications Coordinator in our communications team you’ll:
- Manage, maintain and continue to build on intranet content in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Assist with content sourcing and developing and writing communications on a diverse range of topics to suit various audiences
- Provide logistics and communication support for genU internal and corporate events and days
- Assist the Communications Senior Manager to ensure a well-planned, integrated and coordinated approach for genU’s communications
What you’ll bring
- Minimum two years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with managing and editing content in SharePoint Online, including creation of new pages, working with documents and lists and managing site content assets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
- Ability to write content for a diverse range of topics to suit various audiences and communication channels
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 including Teams & MS Office Suite
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
Bonus points for
- Experience developing video content – filming and editing
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative suite programs
