About the Role
As an Employer Engagement Partner, you’ll be on the front line of connecting job-ready clients with real employment opportunities. You’ll work closely with local employers to understand their workforce needs and help them find the right talent while supporting job seekers to achieve meaningful, long-term employment. This is a role where your relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and passion for people will shine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reverse market engaged, job-ready clients to employers creating job matches and uncovering new opportunities
- Actively engage with clients both in person and remotely, using a variety of methods to maintain regular, meaningful contact
- Stay across Labour Market Information (LMI) to identify trends and develop strategies to address workforce shortages
- Advise employers on available supports including training options, wage subsidies, and post-placement services
- Manage employer vacancies end-to-end: from vacancy assessments and advertising to pre-screening and candidate referrals
What You Bring:
- A natural talent for building genuine rapport with both clients and employers, you’re a people person through and through
- A sharp eye on labour market trends and the creativity to turn insights into smart strategies
- Top-tier organizational and negotiation skills you know how to juggle priorities and close the deal
- The drive to work independently, smash KPIs, and go above and beyond targets
- A love for the little things attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong focus on doing things right
- Experience in Employment Services or Marketing (or both!)
- A solid understanding of recruitment practices and how to help people overcome barriers to employment
