What you’ll do
As an Employment Consultant, you’ll:
- Get to know job seekers’ strengths, goals and barriers, and connect them with the right employment opportunities
- Support, coach and prepare people to succeed in work, from job readiness to ongoing employment
- Link job seekers with training, supports and community services to set them up for long-term success
- Build strong relationships with local employers to create job opportunities and achieve sustainable outcomes
What you’ll bring
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with job seekers, employers and partners
- Great organisational skills — you’re someone who can juggle competing priorities and keep things moving
- A team-first attitude, with the ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, outcomes-focused culture
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
Bonus points for
- Experience in customer service, recruitment, employment services, retail or hospitality.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
