MatchWorks is looking for a driven, people-focused Employment Consultant to provide support and guidance to participants to attain suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes.

What you’ll do
As an Employment Consultant in our Workforce Australia team you’ll:
•    Work with your participants to understand their strengths and goals to match them with the right employment opportunities
•    Bridge the gap between job seekers and local employers by promoting their unique skills and strengths
•    Link participants with training, health, and community supports for long-term success
•    Support participants to develop practical career plans that unlock their potential and boost confidence

What you’ll bring
•    Highly developed communication skills to provide relevant supports to participants and external stakeholders
•    Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation and compliance records in accordance with Workforce Australia requirements 
•    A collaborative team member who brings professionalism, positivity, and a mature approach to teamwork 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Bonus points for 
•    Experience in customer service, recruitment, employment services, or community services 
•    Multilingual skills or experience engaging with culturally diverse communities
