We’re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support a small team of supported employees, helping people with disability build skills, independence and pride through meaningful work in a safe and inclusive environment.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be out in the field alongside your team, carrying out practical grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, whipper snipping, weeding, pruning, planting, general garden upkeep and outdoor maintenance across genU sites and customer locations.
You’ll lead by example, support your team day-to-day, and help deliver quality work that makes a visible impact in the community.

What you’ll do
As a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll:
- Communicate work tasks clearly and effectively to people with varying abilities, acting as the primary point of contact for supported employees.
- Lead, train, and develop supported employees to build skills, confidence, and reach their full potential.
- Plan and manage time and workload to deliver high-quality customer service, buillding on a positive to the Business Enterprise team.
- Monitor and report on work outcomes and employee progress through clear verbal and written communication, including weekly feedback via Carelink.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive workplace by adhering to genU standards, OH&S guidelines, and all relevant policies and procedures.
What you’ll bring

- Hardworking, motivated, and punctual attitude
- Current valid drivers license
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
