genU is looking for a experienced Data Integration Engineer responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting data and system integrations across genU. Working closely with the ICT team, this role ensures reliable integration solutions and clear documentation to support ongoing operations, planning, and future initiatives.

What you’ll do

As a Data Integration Engineer in our ICT team you’ll:

  • Implement and manage testing mechanisms to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Enable real-time and historical monitoring of data integrations to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Ensure fault tolerance and recovery capabilities are built into integration processes.
  • Apply robust security practices, including the use of centralized credentials management.
  • Develop and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes for integration solutions.
  • Lead integration design and implementation efforts for new projects, participating as a subject matter expert in determining the best integration approach and contributing to the overall solution architecture.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience with data transformation tools: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Fabric
  • Experience with data governance tools: Azure Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog
  • Strong experience in system integration tools, including Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, and Azure Logic Apps
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Advanced SQL query writing and design skills, including stored procedures, views, and relational database management

 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

 

Bonus points for

  • Knowledge of Databricks and Python
  • Experience with Middleware platforms - Jitterbit, Mulesoft or similar
  • Knowledge of Salesforce development environment
