Working closely with the ICT Infrastructure Manager and the broader ICT team, you’ll contribute to infrastructure improvement projects, cloud technologies, security initiatives and automation opportunities that help drive operational excellence across the organisation.

At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.
To comply with the Right Fit for Risk (RFFR) Cyber Security Accreditation requirements, applicants for this role must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Unfortunately, applications from candidates who do not meet this requirement cannot be considered.
What you’ll do
As an ICT System Administrator, you'll:
• Provide Level 3 technical support and resolve complex infrastructure, systems and network issues
• Administer and maintain Windows Server, desktop, mobile, cloud and virtualised environments
• Manage user identities, access controls, security measures, backups and disaster recovery processes
• Monitor system performance, maintain infrastructure documentation and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and support scripting and automation solutions that improve efficiency and reliability
What you’ll bring
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or significant systems administration experience
• Strong experience administering Windows and Linux environments, including networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
• Experience with cloud services, virtualisation platforms and infrastructure management
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and documentation skills, with a focus on service excellence
• Experience with IT security, scripting, automation and an understanding of ITIL 4 principles
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
