genU is seeking a motivated Industry Partnerships Coordinator to build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, ensuring students have access to the placement opportunities they need. You will act as the key link between partners and course coordinators, helping streamline arrangements, communicate clearly, and support strategies that prioritise a smooth and positive learner experience.
What you’ll do
As an Industry Partnerships Coordinator in our Learning Design & Experience team you’ll:

Connect with industry partners and placement hosts to promote genU’s training programs.

Create new placement opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with current partners.

Coordinate schedules, support learner readiness, and manage placement documentation.

Keep training programs relevant by staying in touch with industry groups and representing the team at meetings.

Work with colleagues to ensure training materials meet all standards and funding requirements.
What you’ll bring
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.

Experience in building positive relationships and engaging stakeholders, particularly in business development.

Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and a positive, “can-do” approach to customer service.

Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and databases.

Advantageous: experience or knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET) sector or employment services.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
Bonus points for

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - beneficial, not essential.

Prior experience in the community services sector, such as disability or aging.
