MatchWorks is on the lookout for a proactive and relationship-driven Job Match Consultant to join our Employer Engagement Team. In this role, you’ll be the vital link between job seekers and employers—matching talent with opportunity and supporting sustainable employment outcomes.

We’re open to flexible hours, part-time, or job share arrangements – because great people thrive in different ways.

What you’ll do

• Build strong relationships with employers to understand their workforce needs.
• Generate job leads through cold calling and employer engagement.
• Match job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities.
• Provide 6 months of post-placement support to ensure long-term success.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with internal systems.

What you’ll bring

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Confidence in cold calling and promoting services.
• A team-focused mindset with a passion for community impact.
• Sound computer literacy and attention to detail.

(You’ll also need a current driver’s licence and a satisfactory police check – but don’t worry, we’ll guide you through this.)

Bonus points for

• Experience in employment services, recruitment, or marketing.
• Understanding of labour market trends and recruitment strategies.
• Qualifications in Employment Services or Marketing.
