At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.

We're open to flexible hours, part-time, or job share arrangements – because great people thrive in different ways.

What you’ll do

As a P&C Specialist in our team you’ll:

  • Provide practical HR advice and support to leaders and employees across a range of people matters
  • Assist the team with employee relations matters including performance conversations, probation reviews and workplace concerns
  • Support leaders to navigate people processes in line with policies and procedures
  • Contribute to P&C projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the team
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
  • Build strong working relationships with teams and stakeholders across the organisation

What you’ll bring

  • We'll need you to have an understanding of what People & Culture (HR) does and how it operates - but we're open to a wide range of experience levels.
  • An enthusiasm for a role in this setting, supporting a team working to provide challenging, yet very rewarding and impactful services for the community.
  • Experience working within a human resources similar broader business services setting.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear and professional documentation
  • Great attention to detail and strong administrative skills
  • An ability to build relationships and have difficult conversations.

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Bonus points for

  • Experience in a HR business partnering setting.
  • An understanding of australian employment legislation and enterprise agreements.
