This is a role where strategy meets action. You’ll set the direction, guide your team, and bring stakeholders along the journey while ensuring compliance, quality, and creativity are at the core of everything we do.

What you’ll do

As the Learning Design Manager in our Learning Design and Experience team you’ll:

  • Lead with impact: Oversee the design and delivery of engaging, compliant training programs that meet VET/ASQA standards and industry needs.

  • Drive strategy & innovation: Champion best-practice instructional design, embed digital learning tools, and explore creative approaches to lift learner engagement.

  • Deliver at pace: Scope, plan, and manage projects balancing time, budget, and resources while keeping your team focused and motivated.

  • Build strong partnerships: Collaborate with government, industry, and internal stakeholders to deliver practical, impactful learning solutions.

  • Grow capability: Mentor and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.

  • Champion quality: Lead continuous improvement and compliance across all programs and audits, ensuring excellence at every step.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven leadership experience in learning design, with a track record of delivering both accredited and non-accredited programs.

  • In-depth knowledge of the VET sector with RTO experience, including ASQA standards, compliance requirements, and instructional design best practice.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle priorities, solve problems, and deliver results.

  • Hands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Rise) and an eye for user experience and design.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is essential.

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
