About the Role

 

We’re looking for a strong, adaptable leader to join our vibrant and supportive team as a Learning Design Manager, working across the Activ and genU RTOs. This hybrid role is based in VIC or WA and offers the chance to combine people-first leadership with a sharp focus on results, empowering your team to thrive while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team across multiple locations, fostering a team culture that’s caring, collaborative, and high-performing.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance student experience, engagement and retention.
  • Oversee and guide your team in managing industry and community partnerships to secure compliant, meaningful placements, maintain program relevance, and support commercial growth.
  • Ensure compliance with VET and RTO standards, with a strong focus on student support and outcomes.

 

About You

 

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to navigate change with confidence.
  • Proven people leader who can inspire, guide, and develop a team. 
  • Skilled at building positive, lasting relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Previous management experience in an RTO or similar environment.
  • Broad VET sector knowledge, including compliance, student supports, and placements.
  • TAE40122 (or equivalent) is desirable.
