About the Role

Are you passionate about transforming education into a truly empowering experience? As our Learner Experience Manager, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how our students connect, grow, and succeed.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead cross-functional teams across Industry Partnerships, Learner Support, and Communications, working hand-in-hand with our Learning Design Manager to deliver a seamless, engaging, and impactful learner journey—from first contact to course completion and beyond.

You’ll be the driving force behind:

  • Elevating student engagement through tailored support, inclusive communication strategies, and meaningful industry connections.
  • Strengthening practical learning by overseeing placements and engaging with and seeking feedback from key industry stakeholders
  • Championing learner-centred design, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our commitment to quality, accessibility, and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coach and support your team, foster innovation, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll also play a strategic role in aligning learner experience initiatives with organisational goals—ensuring our training programs not only run smoothly but deliver measurable and positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a high-performing, motivated team, providing coaching and guidance.
  • Drive learner engagement, support, and retention across all regions.
  • Oversee practical placements and manage industry partnerships to ensure quality, compliance, and relevance.
  • Support internal and student communications, keeping information clear, timely, and aligned to our values.
  • Work with teams to implement strategic initiatives, boost performance, and continually improve the learner experience.
  • Help develop and deliver learner experience strategies, including surveys, feedback initiatives, and forums to drive improvements.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous management experience in an RTO or similar environment with a solid understanding of compliance in the VET sector.
  • Experience leading and motivating a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong people skills — nurturing and supportive, yet confident in providing direction and driving results.
  • Skilled at building positive relationships with internal teams and external partners, especially in VET, community services, aged care, and disability sectors.
  • Comfortable working with data — collecting, analysing, and using it to make smart decisions.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is a bonus.
