What you’ll do
As a Leisure & Lifestyle Officer in our Aged Respite team, you’ll:
- Plan, deliver and monitor engaging leisure and lifestyle programs that enhance wellbeing, independence, and social connection.
- Coordinate a variety of group and individual activities for clients, including those living with dementia or complex needs.
- Support staff to create a safe, positive, and stimulating environment that promotes both physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Manage scheduling, bookings, and day-to-day logistics for centre-based and community respite programs.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, carers, and local community partners.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including client feedback and program evaluation.
- Ensure all programs meet Aged Care Quality Standards and comply with relevant policies and procedures.
What you’ll bring
As a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant you’ll bring:
- Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience delivering or supporting leisure and lifestyle programs in aged care or community settings
- Understanding of wellness and reablement principles, with a person-centred approach
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
- (Desirable) Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
