What you’ll do

As a Leisure & Lifestyle Officer in our Aged Respite team, you’ll:

• Plan, deliver and monitor engaging leisure and lifestyle programs that enhance wellbeing, independence, and social connection.
• Coordinate a variety of group and individual activities for clients, including those living with dementia or complex needs.
• Support staff to create a safe, positive, and stimulating environment that promotes both physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Manage scheduling, bookings, and day-to-day logistics for centre-based and community respite programs.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, carers, and local community partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including client feedback and program evaluation.
• Ensure all programs meet Aged Care Quality Standards and comply with relevant policies and procedures.

What you’ll bring

As a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant you’ll bring:

• Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent qualification)
• Experience delivering or supporting leisure and lifestyle programs in aged care or community settings
• Understanding of wellness and reablement principles, with a person-centred approach
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
• (Desirable) Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
