genU is seeking a passionate and driven Marketing Business Partner to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that enhance brand visibility, attract customers, and generate revenue through targeted campaigns and initiatives. 

The Business Partner will be responsible for the training and education portfolio in the marketing team, which includes our two Registered Training Organisations genU Training and Activ Pathways. Our RTOs deliver a wide range of vocational education and training aimed at empowering individuals and driving social impact. We're a welcoming and supportive team where having fun at work is part of our culture and as a truly national team.

What you’ll do 

As a Marketing Business Partner in the Brand, Marketing & Fundraising Division team you’ll: 

  • Partner with the National Manager Strategic Marketing & Brand to develop and execute marketing plans across a wide range of mediums, including traditional and digital channels.  

  • Create and integrate impactful campaigns focused on customer acquisition and retention.  

  • Develop and refine innovative marketing collateral and materials to deliver engaging, informative, and personalised messaging. 

  • Partner with internal and external key stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and opportunities ensuring that marketing efforts are tailored to meet their specific needs and drive profit.  

  • Be an open-minded individual and supportive team player with a clear vision and passion for sharing successful ideas, concepts and campaigns. 

  • Ensure your assets, campaigns and strategies are sustainable through thorough planning and budgeting. 

  • Summarise the impact you are making through frequent and accessible reporting.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of four years’ experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, media, brand or a related discipline.  
  • Tertiary degree qualified in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related discipline. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively build relationships and consult with a range of diverse and passionate stakeholders.
  • A self-starter and ‘can do’ attitude with a passion for making your portfolio your own. 
  • A deep understanding of marketing planning and implementation across conventional, digital and social media channels and platforms.
  • Proven experience in managing B2B and B2C campaigns.
  • Experience in briefing and creating engaging social media content and its cross promotion. 
  • Experience and interest in CRM and CMS administration. 
  • Organisational skills with a clear focus on planning and reporting.

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Bonus points for

  • Experience working in a Non For Profit organisation
  • Exposure to Education or RTO environment
