genU is looking for a detail-oriented and solutions-driven NDIS Billing & Claims Officer – Client Funding
This is a contract role where you’ll play a key part in resolving historic claiming issues, tackling a backlog of rejected NDIS claims, and helping improve the speed and accuracy of current funding processes. Your strong analytical skills and collaborative approach will support our service teams to focus on delivering great outcomes for our clients.

What you’ll do
As a NDIS Billing & Claims Officer in our Client Funding team you’ll:
• Analyse and resolve high volumes of NDIS and other funding claim issues, ensuring accurate and compliant outcomes
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve funding queries
• Prepare reconciliations of claiming transactions and customer data to support error resolution
• Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate to the National Manager – Client Funding
What you’ll bring
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret funding data to solve moderately complex problems
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in compliance and documentation
• Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (Carelink, Lumary) and Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical funding concepts to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and foster positive working relationships
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
Bonus points for
• Experience in disability and/or aged care services
• Demonstrated knowledge of disability or aged care funding administration
