We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic National Manager - Talent Acquisition to lead genU’s national recruitment function. This pivotal role sits within our People & Culture leadership team and plays a key part in shaping our workforce of the future. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders to design and deliver innovative talent acquisition strategies aligned to genU’s broader organisational goals. Leading a high-performing team, you’ll ensure a seamless and positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll oversee modern, compliant, and inclusive recruitment processes that reflect genU’s values and support our commitment to building a diverse and engaged workforce. Key responsibilities
As a National Manager – Talent Acquisition your responsibilities include:
- Developing effective, candidate-focused attraction and recruitment strategies
- Leading and supporting genU’s national Talent Acquisition team across end-to-end hiring
- Designing sourcing approaches tailored to our diverse business needs
- Building strategic partnerships with schools, universities, and community groups
- Shaping and promoting genU’s employment brand and EVP
- Supporting recruitment for senior and complex roles
- Ensuring consistent, fair, and inclusive selection practices
- Overseeing compliance and pre-employment screening processes
- Tracking key recruitment metrics and delivering insights to drive improvements
- Building and maintaining strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing
- Training and coaching hiring managers on best-practice selection methods
- Managing TA supplier relationships
- Collaborating with P&C leaders to shape broader workforce strategy
- Preparing reports and briefings for executive and board-level stakeholders
About you
We are looking for a dynamic and values-led individual who have:
- 5+ years in senior TA leadership experience within large, complex organisations
- Proven success in developing and executing effective TA strategies
- Experience leading, engaging and developing dispersed, high-performing teams
- Demonstrated success in workforce planning and stakeholder collaboration
- Strong knowledge of recruitment systems and tech platforms
- An ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, influencing and change leadership skills
- A customer-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
- Solid understanding of TA legislation and compliance
- The ability to contribute to broader P&C leadership, strategy and initiatives

Requirements
To be eligible, you must have, or be willing to complete:
- NDIS Screening Workers Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.
- A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
- A collaborative and flexible approach to work, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels
