Hey you!

Are you highly organised, love keeping things running smoothly and enjoy working behind the scenes to help people start meaningful careers?

At genU, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our national People & Culture team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced recruitment environments, has a sharp eye for detail, and loves creating a great candidate experience.

You’ll play a key role supporting recruitment campaigns, coordinating interviews, managing compliance requirements and ensuring our new employees are ready to start their journey with genU.

Our Talent Acquisition team is supportive, collaborative and genuinely enjoys working together. We celebrate wins, help each other out when things get busy and believe work should be both meaningful and enjoyable.

We’re serious about work-life balance

We offer hybrid working and flexible arrangements, including full time, part time or job share options — because great people thrive when work fits around life.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the National Talent Acquisition Manager, in this role you’ll support the Talent Acquisition team to keep recruitment running smoothly across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating recruitment administration including applications, candidate communications and interview scheduling
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns and high-volume hiring activities across multiple portfolios
  • Managing candidate compliance documentation and pre-employment checks to ensure onboarding readiness
  • Maintaining accurate records across recruitment systems, trackers and shared inboxes
  • Supporting remuneration and offer administration processes within the Talent Acquisition team

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration or high-volume administrative roles
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail when managing compliance documentation and data
  • Confidence using recruitment or HR systems (ATS platforms such as SmartRecruiters or similar)
  • Great communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with candidates and stakeholders

(You’ll also need a NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Bonus points for

  • Experience in disability, aged care or other regulated sectors
  • Knowledge of remuneration or offer administration processes

Why you’ll love working at genU

At genU, we’re committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and respectful space where everyone is empowered to play their part in the important work that we do.

We welcome diversity in all its forms including disability, culture, gender, age, sexuality and religion and celebrate the unique perspectives and experience each of us brings.

You’ll also get

  • Flexibility - full time, part time, or job share plus hybrid working
  • Salary packaging - up to $15,900 tax-free plus meal/entertainment benefits
  • Purchased leave options - the ability to buy additional annual leave to support work-life balance and flexibility.

  • University Study Discount - Enjoy a 25% fee reduction for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Torrens University.
  • Wellbeing support - 24/7 access to a holistic employee assistance program
