Hey you!

We’re looking for a passionate and hands-on Nursery Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our Geelong Community Nursery in South Geelong. Working closely with and reporting to the Nursery Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our nursery, supporting both our team and our customers.

You’ll bring your horticultural knowledge and leadership skills to help manage seed and cutting collection, propagation, and plant production, ensuring high-quality stock is grown and delivered on time. You’ll also assist in supervising and training our supported employees by helping people with disabilities develop new skills, grow in confidence, and thrive in a positive, inclusive workplace.

If you’re someone who enjoys variety in your day, takes pride in seeing others succeed, and thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you!

At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.

  • Accurate and timely completion of tasks and ability to meet business needs as required.
  • Compliance with all relevant genU policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workloads.
  • Assist the business by performing other work as directed by the Nursery Coordinator.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience working in retail nursery sector and/or working horticultural sector.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in job well done.
  • Knowledge in propagation from seed and cuttings.
