Classification: From $53.84 per hour (Victorian Disability Services (NGO) Agreement 2019.

Hey You

 

Reporting to the Regional Manager within our Community division, the Operations Manager will shape and implement strategic opportunities and partnerships to ensure a high-quality individualised support service through the Melbourne Metro and Bayside regions. This role will oversee our Participate, CHSP and ISS programs, and provide leadership that reinforces our continuous commitment to genU values.

  

As the Operations Manager your main responsibilities in this role will be but not limited to:

  • Provide leadership direction and assistance to team members
  • Build strong network across the business: Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key objectives within the scope of the role
  • Quality assurance: Ensuring ongoing compliance to NDIS practice standards
  • Monitor service delivery standards assessing the quality of client service outcomes, potential risks, and complaints management
  • Support setting targets and budgets for the team and monitor, report on tracking against targets monthly

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Leadership experience – ideally managing large teams at varying position levels
  • Analytical skills along with a positive attitude and the ability to problem solve
  • Comprehensive knowledge of delivering services to people living with a disability, older Victorians and people living with mental health issues
  • Finance management – aligning budget expenditure to approved budgets
  • An understanding of client care plans ensuring effective communications on care needs and support requirements

 

You will also need the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in disability or related field, or Certificate IV with substantial experience;
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;
  • Current Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain;
  • Current and Valid Drivers License;
  • Current First and CPR training

 

Desirable but not required experience with systems:

  • Carelink or similar rostering systems
  • SAP Success Factors (Recruitment and Staff Management)
  • Elumina
