The People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner will strategically partner with the business to drive People & Culture strategic and operational initiatives within a designated portfolio, including leadership development, performance management, culture, talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning and organisational development.
Key responsibilities
As a P&C Business Partner you will:
• Shape and deliver a range of people and culture programs within associated portfolio that align with both strategic and operational deliverables
• Provide high quality advice and support to management and staff on all people management processes, ER and other P&C related matters
• Provide strategic P&C advice and relevant coaching to lift leadership capabilities and continually improve employee relations processes
• Align P&C initiatives with business strategy in accordance with budgets, resourcing requirements, sector needs and succession plans
• Provide leadership and guidance on all employee relation matters including interpretation of industrial instruments and policy, performance management and conducting workplace investigations, successfully collaborating with the team and relevant SMEs
• Analyse P&C metrics and inform leaders of trends to identify insights and opportunities for improvement for designated portfolios
• Act as the People & Culture lead and business partner on a variety of workforce planning, organisational design and change projects
About you
We are looking for dynamic and values-led individuals who have:
• Extensive generalist and/or Business Partner HR experience (over 5 years) across a diverse range of P&C specialties including employee/industrial relations, performance management, leadership coaching, remuneration and workforce planning
• Demonstrated successes in translating People and Culture programs into meaningful solutions for key clients
• Profound understanding of employment legislation, industrial agreements and associated processes
• Proven experience in providing advice and influencing/ empowering leaders to deliver progressive employee lifecycle initiatives in line with strategic priorities
• Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including advanced negotiation capabilities

Requirements
To be eligible, you must have, or be willing to complete:
• NDIS Screening Workers Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.
• A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
• A collaborative and flexible approach to work, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels
