The People & Culture (P&C) Specialist will collaborate with the business partnering team, P&C colleagues, managers, and employees to provide expert advice on People policies, processes, EBA interpretations, and employee record compliance. This role also involves managing casework and contributing to broader P&C projects, ensuring consistent support and alignment across the organisation.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

As a P&C Business Partner Specialist you will:

 

  • Provide expert HR advisory and operational support, ensuring alignment with strategic HR objectives, policies, and legislation
  • Handle employee concerns, complaints, and disciplinary matters, escalating as needed
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Support P&C projects and initiatives, including investigations and coordination
  • Advise leaders on probation and performance procedures for high-quality service delivery
  • Prepare IR/ER position papers, briefs, and correspondence on HR matters
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of policies, processes, and systems
  •  Build strong relationships across the business to enhance communication and service delivery

 

 

About you

 

We are looking for dynamic and values-led individuals who have:

 

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, IR, and ER roles
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and confidentiality
  • End-to-end case management experience
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using technology and automation tools for tracking work and generating reports.
  • High standard of documentation maintenance and attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Requirements

 

To be eligible, you must have, or be willing to complete:

 

  • NDIS Screening Workers Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.
  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to work, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels
