Hey you!

We’re on the lookout for an experienced and values-driven Practice Coach to support the delivery of high-quality, contemporary, and person-centred supports across our services. The Quality and Practice team plays a critical role in ensuring client voice, safety, dignity, and human rights are central to everything we do.

This position would suit a person who has experience training support staff and/or is very experienced in the delivery of face-to-face client services in the disability or aged care sector in person centred support principles. It involves the exciting challenge of supporting leaders to lead their teams in best practice. We are seeking a self-starter, with a WA focus, who intends to influence the work practice of support workers across the three states for a national consistent approach.

In this role, you’ll work closely with operational teams and key business functions to strengthen systems, processes, and organisational culture that enable clients to make informed decisions about their own supports. You’ll support services to align with sector requirements across NDIS and Aged Care, while embedding best practice approaches that promote autonomy, safeguarding, and quality outcomes.

You’ll contribute to continuous improvement by supporting compliance activities, audits, feedback systems, and capacity building initiatives that enhance service delivery. A strong focus on risk management, advocacy, and human rights will underpin your work, ensuring people we support receive safe, respectful, and empowering supports.

As a Practice Coach, you’ll provide coaching and mentoring to frontline leaders across a range of service delivery settings, supporting the implementation of best practice principles, person-centred support, and the organisation’s practice framework, including elements of active support. You’ll operate within a train-the-trainer model, building the capability of frontline leaders to confidently embed quality practice within their teams.

If you’re passionate about quality, safeguarding, and supporting leaders to deliver respectful, rights-based supports that truly reflect client choice and voice, we’d love to hear from you.

At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.
