About the position
The Business Support Unit delivers support to MatchWorks with the aim of supporting operations to meet contractual obligations and achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
The Processing Lead provides a high level of processing support including wage subsidies and KIPS to the employment services business. As Processing Lead you will support The Claims, Expenditure and Processing Manager with general management duties including staff support, training and development.
- Support and engage with all team members to maximise capability.
- Completion of all support tasks including editing and approval of KIPS, management and document review of wage subsidies, to a level prescribed by the manager.
- Identify, promote and share innovative ideas and best practice across the business to ensure continuous improvement and an efficient operating model.
- Contributes to the achievement of individual and team role objectives.
- Communicating with employers and site staff to obtain appropriate documentary evidence to support wage subsidy negotiation and payment.
- Contributes to the processing of all wage subsidies and KIPS to the highest level of compliance and identify and communicate to the manager any deficiencies within the process on an ongoing basis, ensuring that cost of sale and financial risk to the business is minimised.
- Provide a high level of support and guidance to staff and managers in the understanding and implementation of the Deeds and Guidelines.
- Ensure the compliance of all internal processes and documents to the Deeds and Guidelines.
About you
- Experience in delivering services under Workforce Australia or Disability Employment Services
- Understanding of compliance and contractual obligations associated with Department of Education and Workplace Relations and Department of Social Services contracts.
- Experience in leading a team and or a supervisory experience in a similar role
- High level organisational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work within a busy environment
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven administrative skills, including computer skills with an emphasis on Word, Excel, ESS, Internet search and email applications, databases
- NDIS Screening Workers Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Workers Operational Module (or willing to obtain)
