genU is looking for an confident and approachable Access & Enquiry Officer (Receptionist ) who brings a warm, professional presence to every interaction. What you’ll do

As an Access & Enquiry Officer in our Client Services Team, you’ll:
• Be the first point of contact, responding to client and stakeholder enquiries with professionalism, warmth, and accurate information across phone, email, and in-person channels.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support, including mail distribution, data entry, document handling, and vehicle fleet coordination to keep things running smoothly.
• Handle financial transactions with care and accuracy, supporting cash handling, daily reconciliations, and banking procedures in line with compliance standards.
• Champion service quality and team culture, ensuring consistent, values-driven service delivery, while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.

 

What you’ll bring

• A Certificate in Administration, Business Studies, or equivalent experience in a similar customer service or reception-based role.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – and a natural ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
• Strong time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office (especially Teams), and the ability to manage multiple inboxes and documentation accurately.
• A commitment to person-centred service, with empathy, professionalism, and the ability to support people of all abilities and backgrounds.

(You’ll also need a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

 

Bonus points for

• Experience working with people with disability or within the community services sector.
• Familiarity with CareLink, Lumary, or other CRM systems.
• An understanding of the NDIS and broader disability service landscape.
