We’re seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment who’d like to take on some additional sessional training work. This is a great opportunity to share your skills and experience with learners while fitting work around your existing commitments.

 

About the Opportunity

As a Trainer, you’ll deliver short courses and skill sets that equip students with practical, industry-relevant knowledge. This includes:

 

  • CHCSS00070 Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set - Teach the essentials of the human body and safe medication support in aged care, disability, and community contexts.
    • HLTAAP001 Recognise Healthy Body Systems
    • HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid - Equip learners with the skills to respond in emergencies and manage a range of injuries and illnesses.

 

Courses are offered in varied study modes (on-campus, virtual, and blended), giving both you and students flexibility.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Deliver engaging training in classroom, workplace, and e-learning environments
  • Assess learner competencies and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement processes
  • Support genU Training’s commitment to high-quality, industry-focused learning

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116, or TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as needed
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate (or willingness to obtain)
