genU is looking for a passionate and driven Senior Communications Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of integrated communication strategies that elevate the visibility, clarity and impact of genU’s initiatives, whilst shaping and delivering communications that support genU’s organisational objectives and enhance stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do
As a Senior Communications Coordinator in our Communications team you’ll:
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify communication needs ensuring objectives are in line with genU’s values and relevant guidelines
- Design and deliver high-impact, multi-channel communication campaigns and content including key internal communication platforms
- Lead communication support for flagship genU engagement events and the celebration of days of significance, in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of key corporate documents such as annual reports, strategic plans and awards submissions
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives aligned with organisational change, innovation and service delivery
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation development skills with experience in writing for senior leaders
- Demonstrated ability to tailor communications and story angles to suit the audience and channel
- Experience using SharePoint as a content editor and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
