We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Sessional Trainers to join the team.  At genU Training, we run short, practical programs that help people build confidence, gain real skills and take meaningful steps toward employment.

We are currently looking for trainers to deliver courses in the following areas: 

 

Cleaning & Health - commercial cleaning, hygiene, housekeeping and healthrelated cleaning skills 

 

Hospitality & Customer Service - customer service, food & beverage, bar service, retail and business support skills 

 

 

What you’ll do  

 

As a Sessional Trainer in our Training U For Work team, you will:  

 

  • Plan and deliver short, hands-on training that builds practical skills, workplace readiness, and learner confidence while supporting diverse learners 

  • Manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently 

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

What you’ll bring  

 

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - Essential 

  • Recent hands-on industry experience in your area of expertise (within last 2 years) 

  • Strong communication, organisation and participant‑focused approach 

  • Confidence using basic technology for reporting and materials (Canvas experience a bonus) 

  

 

Additional requirements 

 

  • Current driver’s license and own vehicle to transport equipment, plus the ability to lift up to 20kg 

  • Positive, solutions focused approach when working with people from all backgrounds 

 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
