We are looking for passionate and experienced Sessional Trainers with a background in disability, aged care, community or mental health services to inspire and upskill the next generation of care professionals.   

 

 As a trainer, you'll bring your real-world experience into the classroom, helping learners build confidence, capability, and a genuine connection to the work they do. 

 

 

What you could be delivering  

 

Our programs include:  

 

  • Accredited qualifications and skill sets in Individual Support, Community Services, Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs.  

 

Delivery may include face-to-face, online, workplace and blended learning. 

 

 

genU Training delivers job-ready, nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses. We empower people through education—particularly those living with disability, long-term unemployed, or experiencing vulnerability in the community.    

      

 

What you’ll do  

  

As a Sessional Trainer, you will: 

 

  • Facilitate engaging training across face-to-face and online environments 

  • Support learners from diverse backgrounds, including new entrants and experienced support workers 

  • Bring industry insights into your sessions to create practical, job-ready learning 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance training quality and learner experience 

 

   

What you’ll bring  

  

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - essential 

  • Relevant qualification in your area of expertise (individual support, community services, mental health, alcohol and other drugs) 

  • Strong, current experience in the relevant sector 

  • Confident facilitation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners 

  • Experience delivering training both in-person and online 

 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
