genU Training is looking for a passionate and experienced Sessional Trainer with a background in employment services or community services to inspire and upskill the next generation of care professionals. As a trainer, you’ll share your knowledge, bring industry practice to life, and help learners deepen their expertise to make a real difference in their communities.  

  

genU Training delivers job-ready, nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses. We empower people through education—particularly those living with disability, long-term unemployed, or experiencing vulnerability in the community.  

  

 

What you’ll do 

 

As a Sessional Trainer in our team you will: 

 

  • Deliver the CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services across classroom, workplace and online settings 
  • Provide training in Geelong, Barwon Heads, or both as required 
  • Assess learner competencies and give constructive feedback 
  • Complete reporting and compliance tasks to a high standard 
  • Contribute positively to the genU Training team and overall student experience 

    

 

What you’ll bring 

 

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in employment services or community services, ideally supported by a formal qualification
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a genuine passion for professional development and lifelong learning.  
  • Confidence in delivering engaging face-to-face and online sessions and managing digital learning tools effectively.  
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between locations  

  

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Orientation Module Certificate and Working With Children Check – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
