What you’ll do  

 

As a Sessional Trainer in our team you’ll:  

 

  • Share your industry experience and deliver Construction White Card training to prepare students for safe work in the construction industry. 
  • Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging face to face training sessions, incorporating hands on skills and assessments.  
  • Work with individuals from different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them become job-ready, grow their confidence and achieve lasting change.

What you’ll bring  

 

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - Essential 
  • Recent experience in construction or trades, and CPCWHS1001 White Card  
  • A collaborative approach with great people skills, organisation and initiative.  
  • Comfortable skills with tech and able to manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently. Familiarity with Canvas is beneficial.  

  

 

Additional requirements 

 

  • Flexibility is required to travel to different training locations each week, across STATE. Accommodation is provided for trips over 90 minutes. 
  • You’ll need a current driver’s license and your own car to transport equipment (e.g, warehousing gear, café machines, training materials).  
  • Trainers must be able to lift up to 20kgs as part of transporting and setting up equipment.  
  • You’ll be working with people from all backgrounds and experience levels, so a positive attitude and solutions focused mindset is key.  

 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
